Plainview Fire Dept

We arrived in Plainview, NB to a very warm welcome. Volunteer Brian drove one of the fire dept. pickups out to meet us and follow us into town. As soon as we arrived, Brian started BBQing for us and the other volunteers who came out to greet us. Rick, one of the volunteers asked why we would stop in a a small town like theirs? Not one short on words, I shared my thoughts and it wasn't long before we were sharing our commitments about volunteering and why we care about our communities. We even shared about each of our kids programs we have and the importance these kids play in life as they grow up.
The picture on the right is of the Plaineview VFD patch being placed on the door of the trailer. They'll be going to Brooklyn now too. A big thank you to all of you from Plainview Volunteer Fire Department.
